Jordan 1 Retro High '85 OG Bred is an ankle-height basketball construction.
Jordan 1 Retro High '85 OG Bred is an ankle-height basketball construction. The original Air Jordan 1 design used ankle support, leather overlays and a firm traction base. Lower versions later translated that language into a more casual profile. Traction comes from a rubber base. A foam midsole houses Nike Air, while panel work gives the upper structure. Flat laces close the construction. With foam cushioning and firm traction, the complete build supports comfort without losing firm contact with the ground.
Air Jordan comes from Michael Jordan's basketball legacy, but today it has its own language inside sneaker culture. Jordan 1, 3 and 4 models differ in shape, height and how strongly they stand out in an outfit.

Product care
Air Jordan models usually use a panelled upper made from leather, synthetic materials, suede or nubuck depending on the release. The rubber sole keeps the shape and higher versions add ankle support.
Clean leather with a soft damp cloth and treat suede or nubuck dry only. Apply protection before first wear, especially on light or textured surfaces.
